As the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, you will be a key player in articulating the financial performance of GXO America’s Asia Pacific region. You will have oversight of consolidated reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, and will utilize your skills and experience to drive positive outcomes.

What you will do on a typical day: 

Provide executive-level reporting and analysis that highlights what is driving financial outcomes in the business. You will interact with various groups and stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and consistent messaging to executive leadership. On a monthly basis, you will help lead the organization through the full financial reporting cycle. 

 

  • Prepare and present monthly reporting packages, with clear and concise explanations of variances drivers 
  • Design, prepare and update financial models in Excel to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis 
  • Effectively communicate financial results within the business; develop routine and ad hoc analysis to support business decisions 
  • Work cross-functionally with business partners to ensure alignment and consistent messaging 
  • Identify, measure and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other operational and financial metrics 
  • Seek continuous improvement opportunities in reports and processes to improve content and streamline production and distribution 
  • Develop and publish PowerBI reporting products for executive audiences 

 

What you need to succeed at GXO: 

At a minimum, you will need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent related work or military experience 
  • 4+ years of experience in finance or financial planning and analysis 
  • 2+ years of PowerBI development experience 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and creating complex formulas and models in Excel with large amounts of data in various formats 
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to influence others with data-driven support 
  • Leadership and professional presentation experience  

 It would be great if you also have: 

  • Master's degree (MBA or MS) 
  • Experience working with cross-functional team across an organization 
  • General knowledge of GAAP
