As a Global Process Owner, Order to Cash and Oracle Projects, you will be a part of operational controllership responsible for global process and systems within your workstream. The Order to Cash and Oracle Projects GPO is responsible for analyzing, designing, leading, and implementing best in class OTC processes. You will act as a liaison with regional subject matter experts and key stakeholders to understand requirements and drive global design of OTC processes and systems. Following process design, you will be responsible for providing oversight and driving continuous improvement.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead regional Invoicing, Collections, Accounts Receivable, Cash Application and Credit subject matter experts in designing the global process for OTC
- Lead regional Invoicing, Internal Reporting and Customer Reporting subject matter experts in designing the global process for Oracle Projects.
- Drive Oracle Fusion Design, taking accountability for design and solution sign-off for OTC and Oracle Projects workstreams – make timely design decisions, championing adoption of standard out-of-the-box solutions, providing strong justification and business case for any deviation from standard
- Manage GXO OTC and invoicing teams and direct the work of third party or offshore OTC resources
- Oversee OTC and Oracle Projects performance and key performance indicators and take a leadership role on required actions for improvement
- Remain connected to regional Operations, Pricing, Legal, and Account Management leads to ensure alignment and enforcement of the global OTC and Oracle Projects processes within Oracle Fusion
- Define leading practice processes and maintain order to cash and Oracle Projects policies, relevant standard templates and supporting tools to drive compliance with the global process
- Drive speed, quality, and simplification of OTC and Projects process through standardization and automation
- Serve as the global OTC and Oracle Projects champion by partnering with Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to promote global objectives and assist in resolving issues and non-compliance.
- Facilitate process reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and lead improvement initiatives
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business
- 7 years of experience in Order to Cash
- 5 years of people and project management experience
- Strong understanding of End-to-End OTC Process, with an emphasis on the invoicing process
- Understanding of financial control, general ledger and accounts receivable processes and procedures
- Strong leadership skills and experience leading cross functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines while responding to changing priorities.
- Experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
It’d be great if you also have:
- Oracle Fusion Experience
- PMP certification
- Experience leading large finance transformation, business operations or technology process improvement projects
