The Senior Manager is a strategic leader responsible for the overall performance and growth of one or more client programs. This role serves as the primary owner of client outcomes, including service performance, financial results, and relationship management. The Senior Manager leads a team, drives cross-functional execution, and partners with senior client stakeholders to deliver operational excellence, identify growth opportunities, and ensure long-term partnership success.
Responsibilities:
Client Leadership & Relationship Management
• Serve as the primary strategic contact for senior client stakeholders across multiple functions
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships to drive engagement, retention, and long-term partnership value
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), presenting performance insights, strategic recommendations, and future roadmap initiatives
• Act as a subject matter expert on client programs, industry trends, and operational strategy
• Identify and pursue opportunities for service expansion, optimization, or new project work
Financial Ownership & Performance Management
• Own P&L performance for assigned programs, including revenue, cost, margin, and forecast accuracy
• Review and validate financial forecasts and support annual budget development
• Monitor key financial drivers (volume, productivity, cost per order, fees as % of revenue) and proactively communicate risks and opportunities
• Partner with Finance and Operations to drive cost control and profitability improvement initiatives
Operational Strategy
• Oversee program performance against SLAs, KPIs, and service commitments
• Analyze operational and financial performance across periods to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Assess complex issues, determine appropriate corrective actions, and drive resolution across functional areas
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and projects involving Operations, Engineering, IT, Finance, and other internal partners
• Recommend solution changes, process improvements, or network adjustments to improve client and business outcomes
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, coach, and develop Analysts, Sr. Analysts, and/or Managers
• Set clear performance expectations and goals aligned to program and organizational objectives
• Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and support career development
• Build a high-performing, client-focused team culture
Strategic Planning & Growth
• Drive execution of the client roadmap, ensuring alignment between client objectives and PFS capabilities
• Maintain strong understanding of industry trends and client business strategy to proactively guide decision-making
• Support contract renewals, pricing discussions, and strategic planning activities
• Manage multiple client engagements or serve as the account owner for enterprise or large-scale programs
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
• 7–12+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or client program/success management
• Demonstrated experience managing P&L responsibility and financial forecasting
• Experience leading client relationships at the director/executive level
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple complex projects
• Prior people leadership and team development experience
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
