You will partner closely with hiring managers to develop and execute hiring strategies that align with our business goals. *This position requires the candidate to reside on the East Coast (Eastern Time Zone) to ensure alignment with team operations.*

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Work creatively with hiring managers and the HR team to ensure exempt and non-exempt positions are filled with highly talented candidates in a seamless manner
- Partner with senior management to develop recruitment strategy
- Conduct regular business partner meetings to educate on recruiting best practices and market data, including execution of recruiting processes and tools
- Support junior recruiters providing feedback, sharing best practices and helping them grow professionally
- Develop innovative and creative ways to attract the most qualified and diverse candidates
- Coordinate and attend recruiting events
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably in a corporate or agency setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
It’d be great if you also have:
- MBA or advanced degree in related field
- 4 years of progressively responsible experience in HR, specifically in employment, high-volume recruiting, EEO and compliance
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced internet searching and candidate research
- Demonstrated confidence in all settings when advising/partnering with business leaders; ability to maintain professionalism and focus in an ambiguous environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in an environment with competing demands
- Solutions oriented with solid problem-solving and follow-up skills
