We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our team in Rijsbergen, Breda, where you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, implementing innovative solutions, and supporting customer assembly operations. How you'll make an impact
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead logistics engineering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets
- Support and optimise onsite assembly processes for customers
- Analyse operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop innovative solutions
- Prepare and deliver presentations to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and automation solutions
- Utilize AutoCAD for warehouse design and layout planning where applicable
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success
- Track and report on continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the operation
What you'll bring to GXO
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics Engineering or a related field
- Proven project management experience within a logistics environment
- Experience within assembly or production environments is preferred
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing process improvements
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Experience of AutoCAD is a must
- Experience with logistics technologies, warehouse management systems (WMS), is advantageous
