HR Advisor - Part time

Are you looking for a work life balance? we are recruiting for a part time HR Advisor 20-24 hours a week, daytime working, flexible hours to suit, whether you want 5 short days or 2.5 days we can work with you needs!

Not only are we offering flexible hours, but this is also supporting one of our newest GXO locations in Breda. An independent and versatile HR role within an international logistics environment, where you are the HR point of contact for the site and work closely with operations, management and the regional HR team.

You will be working at one of our most important customer locations, where there is plenty of room to make an impact and help build a growing organization.

As an HR Advisor, you are the point of contact for managers and employees, you are part of the MT and you interact directly with the Site Manager, among other things.

Within this role, you will have the opportunity to actively and visibly contribute to various developments within HR and personnel policy.

What does your day look like as an HR Advisor?

• You will be involved in advising, supporting and coaching managers on inflow, throughput and outflow themes on the sites.
• You ensure that central HR themes land well in the organization and you provide input for new or adjusted policy from daily practice.
• You are involved in monitoring and analysing available HR data daily, adjusting and/or initiating improvements.
• You advise management on capacity issues; you are actively involved in the selection for key positions and advise on the application of employment conditions.
• You advise on the further development of teams and guide them in the further development process. You also advise on complex cases in the field of (dis)performance, absenteeism, labour conflicts, integrity and culpable actions
• You assist the managers in conducting (complex) conversations in the areas of absenteeism, function and development, among other things
• You will make a substantive contribution to local and central HR projects.

What do you need to be successful

• You have completed a bachelor's degree in the field of HR, or a similar level of knowledge or years of experience
• You have work experience in a similar position, preferably in a logistics environment and are aware of the laws and regulations in the field of HRM
• You know how to deal with the dynamics and hectic pace of a logistics organization and know how to structure the relevant HR themes.
• You can proactively and quickly switch between the different management levels on the site (stakeholder management)
• Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing, in both Dutch and English
• You stand your ground, can work autonomously and are assertive in terms of person
• Able to set priorities in the execution of your tasks and not lose sight of customer focus
• Experience with following up on generalist and autonomous HR cases

• A salary of up to €5400 (based on 40 hours per week) appropriate to your experience and travel allowance;
