Team Leader

Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to support our Segen operation at Medway. This is a full‑time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 16:00 – 00:00, where you’ll lead and motivate warehouse colleagues to deliver safe, efficient and compliant operations while consistently meeting operational KPIs.

We’re looking to offer a salary of £34,663.20, plus a 15% uplift for hours worked between 22:00 and 00:00, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Lead, motivate and support warehouse colleagues to deliver strong shift performance
  • Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out safely and in line with SOPs and customer requirements
  • Monitor productivity, quality and service levels, taking corrective action where required
  • Deliver shift briefings, coaching and performance feedback to support colleague development
  • Work closely with management and support teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role within warehousing or logistics 
  • Strong people management and communication skills
  • Ability to work confidently in a fast‑paced, time‑critical environment
  • Good understanding of health & safety and warehouse operational processes
  • A proactive, resilient approach with a passion for driving performance and standards
  • MHE training or willingness to learn
