Are you passionate about IT support within a logistics environment and eager to be a key link between operations and the Warehouse Management System? Do you enjoy being the first point of contact for users, providing solutions, training, and continuous improvements?
Then we are looking for you as a Key User II in Roermond!
What you do on a typical day
- Provide first-line (Tier 1) IT support for the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Troubleshoot WMS issues, analyze root causes, and report or escalate when necessary.
- Identify and propose system or process enhancements and contribute to continuous IT improvement.
- Convert functional requests into IT solutions; when required, forward requests to the central IT department or IT vendors.
- Develop and maintain local IT processes, application manuals and work instructions.
- Train end users on system functionalities and best practices.
- Collaborate with Site Management, the central IT team, and external IT vendors to ensure operational continuity.
- Work in accordance with GXO Health & Safety standards and actively contribute to a safer workplace.
- Support environmental initiatives by promoting the reduction of resource usage and emissions.
What you need to succeed at GXO
- MBO in Supply Chain, IT or equivalent.
- At least 3+ years of experience in a similar technical support role.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment.
- Self-driven, disciplined, resilient and proactive.
- Strong analytical mindset and capable of working under pressure.
- Solid technical understanding and willingness to continuously develop.
- Ability to deliver high-quality support to internal stakeholders.
