Team Manager

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Team Manager to join our well-established multi-user site in Rotherham. With a strong reputation built over 20+ years, this site supports a variety of customers and offers a unique, dynamic environment.
You’ll be responsible for leading a team, driving operational performance, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency are achieved.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work a rotation of 2 shifts Week 1: 3 days on 4 days off Week 2: 4 days on 3 days off, covering hours of 06:00 till 18:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead and manage a team to deliver operational excellence across safety, quality, and productivity
- Monitor and achieve daily and weekly KPIs, ensuring service exceeds customer expectations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduct costs
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, company policies, and operational procedures
- Develop and engage your team through coaching, training, and performance management
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or FMCG environment with team management responsibility
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate others
- Ability to manage performance, analyse data, and drive results
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong problem-solving ability
