Transport Supervisor (Nights)

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Transport Nightshift Supervisor to join our NHS Supply Chain contract based in Rugby. You’ll ensure smooth, compliant, and cost-effective transport operations during the night shift.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You’ll be working Sunday to Thursday, covering the hours of 22:00 till 06:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Leading and motivating a team of night shift drivers to hit performance targets
- Ensuring full compliance with transport legislation and company policies
- Managing cost and service levels in line with KPIs
- Coordinating with warehouse and customer service teams to guarantee timely and accurate deliveries
- Driving continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and enhance service
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Strong previous experience working within Transport Operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to plan and flex driver and vehicle levels to meet operational needs
- Knowledge of transport legislation and compliance
- International CPC holder
