We’re looking for a driven leader to join our night shift team in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment. We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader (nights) that can lead from the front to join our site in Rugby. You will provide first level support to the Shift Manager in managing the team as they carry out their daily tasks by maintaining a consistent presence within the operation.

 


This is a full time, permanent position. Y
ou will be working any 5 days from 7, 22:00 – 06:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of £41,491.00 per annum and 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • You will lead your team and coordinate activities that will achieve business goals, whilst promoting a team-based culture
  • Responsible for daily supervision of warehouse operatives, agency staff and warehouse resources in line with operational responsibility to run according to set targets, deadlines and customer requirements
  • Respond constructively to internal and external customer requests while developing and maintaining effective communication
  • Encourage the process of continuous improvement to procedures

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Experience working in a leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • People management and line management experience
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Ability to hold difficult conversations with underperforming staff
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal
