MHE Trainer

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for an MHE Trainer to join our team in Runcorn, supporting our customer Screwfix. As an MHE Trainer you’ll instruct, test, monitor, and mentor colleagues in the safe use of MHE and deliver operational safety training across all areas of the operation.The successful candidate will receive full training and refresher training as required to become a recognized trainer / instructor.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000.00 per annum and 25-days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- To assist in training, assessing and re-assessing all users of MHE.
- To assist in maintaining accurate testing and certification records liasing with the Training Department
- To ensure the profile of the site is maintained to the very highest standard
- To be responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and other operatives by adhering to safe working practices
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Have an excellent SHE record and have a low Infolink Infringement record
- Competent user of FLT (either a reach or counterbalance truck)
- You will currently hold OR be willing to train to RTITB / ITSAAR standards – qualification lasts 5 years
