Here at GXO, we’re looking for a proactive and experienced QHSE Manager to join our Abercrombie & Fitch contract based in Rushden. You’ll lead our site’s safety, health, environmental, and quality strategy. You’ll be the go-to expert, supporting operational teams and ensuring compliance with legislation, company standards, and our ambitious Road to Zero goals.

 

This is a full-time, permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 09:00 till 17:00.

You will receive a salary of up to £45,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Lead and embed QHSE strategies across the site
  • Ensure legal compliance and deliver continuous improvement plans
  • Manage audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability at all levels
  • Support and coach teams on training, policies, and best practices
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive excellence

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or NCQ Level3 (minimum)
  • Strong experience in a similar position ideally within a logistics/warehousing environment
  • Strong knowledge of H&S legislation, COSHH, and environmental standards
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to manage compliance, reporting, and change initiatives
  • Membership of a recognised Health & Safety institute
