Shift Manager

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a dedicated Shift Manager to join our Abercrombie & Fitch contract based in Rushden. You’ll be the driving force behind our operational success. You’ll lead and motivate your team to deliver exceptional service, exceed KPIs, and maintain a safe, efficient, and positive working environment. From managing daily workflows and performance to promoting continuous improvement and team development, you’ll make a real impact every day.

 

This is a full-time, permanent position. You’ll be working Sunday to Thursday, covering the hours of 14:00 till 22:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £41,600 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Leading activities to achieve business goals and customer satisfaction
  • Managing headcount, performance, and daily work allocation
  • Driving continuous improvement and eliminating waste
  • Ensuring Health & Safety and environmental standards are met
  • Building a positive team culture and succession planning
  • Handling disciplinary meetings, investigations, and grievance resolutions

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Strong previous experience within a fast-paced logistics environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example
  • Excellent systems knowledge and confidence with Microsoft Excel
  • A self-starter who thrives under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
