Warehouse Operative

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join us at our team in Sheffield, supporting our customer, M&S. From receiving and storing products to picking, packing, and dispatching orders you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.

You will be working on a full-time, 3-month fixed-term contract basis, on an ‘any 5 days out of 7’ pattern. Working on rotating shift, covering the hours of 06:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00 and 22:00 to 06:00 therfore flexibility is essential!

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Be involved in all aspects of the warehouse including picking, packing, goods in and despatch – this is an ever-changing environment so you must be happy with change
• Safety is one of our core values. Despite the pacey nature of the role, we need employees that will always adhere to all health and safety around the warehouse and help promote a culture of this
• No two days will be the same, we need you to be a key support to the site at this time and take on any tasks that may be needed to help support the effort of restocking our supermarkets

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
• Good communication skills and be hardworking
• A willingness to learn new skills
• A positive attitude to working safely and as part of a team
