We are currently recruiting for a Nightshift Inventory Team Leader at our multi-user site in Sherburn in Elment.

 

You will be responsible for overseeing the stock team and managing all aspects of the stock operation, whilst ensuring customer service level agreements are achieved and all stock-related queries are completed efficiently and in a timely manner. 

 

Joining us on a permanent, full-time basis, you’ll work on a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, between the hours of 19:00 – 07:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £29,000 per annum and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Providing leadership and guidance for the stock team to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication between them to address any potential issues effectively and in a timely manner
  • Developing effective relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders
  • Proactively manage the daily stock activities while ensuring all IT warehouse systems are maintained and ensure all data is accurate and up to date
  • Ensure that sufficient resources are allocated and utilised to drive a culture of delivering high levels of service

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Understanding of warehouse and transport operations
  • Previous managerial experience would be an advantage
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and coach teams and colleagues to ensure excellent performance
  • Experience of developing strong relationships with employees and customers
