Class 2 Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2 Driver to join our home delivery team in Sherburn, Leeds for our customer, Cormar Carpets. You will be responsible for delivering large products to customer premises.

You will be contracted to work 50 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, starting at 06:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle while following all road traffic laws and company/vehicle regulations
  • Complete multidrop deliveries to high street stores and trading estates, using mechanical off‑load equipment where required
  • Carry out collections of returns and ensure all vehicle checks, tachograph entries, and defect reporting are completed correctly
  • Secure the vehicle and all stock properly throughout every journey
  • Consistently provide excellent customer service during all deliveries and interactions

 

 What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • A full UK driving licence with category Class 2 entitlement
  • A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
  • Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 current penalty points
  • No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
