We are looking for a Team Leader that can lead from the front to join our TK Maxx contract in Sherburn in Elmet.Supporting our shared-user site you will be responsible for ensuring all colleagues within the team are trained in their respective tasks, adhering to Health & Safety rules and procedures whilst meeting or exceeding operational requirements within the contract.

 

This is a full-time, permanent position, working a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern, between the hours of 07:00 – 19:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of £29,000 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Team management; developing, leading and motivating your people to achieve challenging operational KPIs
  • You’ll lead the team on health & safety, showing good working practices, as you’ll be responsible for keeping all our operational processes fully compliant whilst keeping your people safe
  • You’ll actively manage your available resource, and utilise staff where possible  
  • Maintain a constant presence within the warehouse delivering shift briefs and preparing handovers

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG
  • Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
  • Well-versed in warehouse management systems
  • Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
