Multi Task Warehouse Operative

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting a full time, permanent Warehouse Operative to join our team in Telford (TF17LL).

Successful candidates will be subject to a full vetting, including Disclosure Scotland clearance process

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a rotating shift pattern, covering the hours of 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00. This role is predominantly working Monday to Friday; however, you will be contracted to work any 5 from 7 days when required.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Safely receive, pick, pack, and handle warehouse stock while maintaining efficiency and accuracy
• Conduct key inventory tasks including cycle counting, data entry, and associated administrative duties
• Support smooth warehouse operations through accurate stock control and timely completion of tasks working collaboratively with team members to achieve targets
• Undertake local deliveries as required, ensuring excellent service and professionalism

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation, data handling, and high‑quality work standards
• Excellent IT and communication skills, with a clear focus on delivering great customer service
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, using initiative when needed
• Forklift (Counterbalance/Reach) licences would be an advantage, however full training will be provided
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems would be an advantage, although full training will be provided
• Holds a full clean driving licence
