Class 1 ADR Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 1 ADR Driver to join our delivery team in Hamble-le-Rice, Southampton for our customer, Valero.

You will be contracted to work 44.68 hours per week, working on a 3-week rolling shift pattern (5 nights, 4 days and 3 days). On an average, you will be working 4 shifts per week.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Safely load the fuel vehicle daily at designated terminals or depots, following all operational and health & safety procedures
• Deliver fuel oil to domestic, agricultural and commercial customers using a fuel tanker
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and on time, ensuring full compliance with service level requirements
• Take responsibility for health & safety, including dynamic risk assessments, safe working practices and reporting accidents or incidents
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and attend required training to support legal compliance, KPI performance and continuous improvement

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Must hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
• Must hold a valid ADR
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
