Driver Trainer
Have you got a talen for training and working well others ? We are looking for x2 full-time, permanent Driver Trainers to join our busy Screwfix Contract based at Stafford.
This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00. However, we do ask for some flexibility, this is logistics after all.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
•Ensure all drivers are fully trained on all Transport vocational training, proactive safety training and compliance training and carry out induction training for new colleagues within the Transport department. This includes CPC training.
•Carry out training requirements, in accordance with industry standards (e.g., VOSA, Tachograph Infringement and EU Hours and Regulations)
•Design and implement any New Equipment Training sessions (Drivers/Shunters)
•Support the business needs by conducting periodic Training requirements as and when required (Retraining of Tachograph Infringements and SAFED - Safe and Fuel-Efficient Driving) Fuel improvement training
•Assist with assessment and recruitment of new transport team members across the whole Transport network/road/H&S accidents
What you'll need to succeed at GXO:
•Essential to this position is your LGV C+E licence.
•Desirable qualifications would be DSA (Driver Standards Agency) LGV Instructor Certificate, SAFED (Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving) and Adult Education Training Certificate
•Ability to train and give clear confident instructions
•Excellent level of H&S knowledge is essential
•Flexibility in regard to working hours and location with a preparation to support the National transport network with training where required
•Ability to keep accurate records, and excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong IT skills
