Project Coordinator WIN Screwfix Stafford

A brand-new role has become available at our Screwfix site in Stafford as a Project Coordinator. This is a brand-new role that relies on a confident and well-spoken individual with experience in management in order to develop and oversee project risk assessments.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £33,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. This role will operate between Monday and Friday 08:00-16:00. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Liaise closely with all stakeholders to support the delivery of Capex and REVEX based projects.
- Create and maintain Facilities project tracker
- Contact suppliers and contractors to ensure visits to site are in line with the schedule of works.
- Review RAMS for external contractors and ensure these are up to date. Insurance required is suitable
- Liaise with internal stakeholder to ensure communication in the planning, pre implementation, build and through testing and commissioning stages of each project.
- Assist with the development of project scope documentation and liaise with GXO procurement when tendering or inviting quotes.
- Invested in H&S and carry out regular weekly Safety walks, highlighting and reporting any actions to manager
- Develop Project Risk assessment and preconstruction Information in line with CDM Regs
What you need to be successful at GXO:
- You will need working knowledge of UK Statutory Compliance within a built-environment setting
- A critical eye for detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Zero tolerance when it comes to H&S and compliance.
- Excellent communicator at all levels
- Consistent approach to governance strategy and principles.
- Previous Line Manager Experience
