Stock and Systems Clerk

We have an excellent opportunity for a secondment Stock & Systems Clerk at our warehouse in our Stafford DC2 sites. 
 
Working within our Stock & Systems team and reporting to the Stock & Systems Team Manager, you will be involved with stock control and daily stock checks ensuring that all stock movements - into and out of the depot, are administered and controlled in line with agreed procedures. Some manual work within the warehouse will be required whilst undertaking this task. This role does follow a rotating shift pattern from 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 Monday - Friday .

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £26,769.60 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:  

 

•To monitor and investigate discrepancies between physical and system stock levels.
•To closely monitor accuracy and control of the Warehouse Operations Functions, Goods Inwards and Despatch.
•To co-ordinate Inter-site Transfers between DC3 and TD1/DC4/DC5
•To control stock damages within the warehouse. To monitor damage frequency and where necessary introduce corrective action and control the handling of new and de-listed products.
•To update the systems with the relevant data, as a result of day to day stock investigations.

•PC skills required for production of spreadsheets and databases.l

•Physically able to carry out manual activities
•An internal applicant must have passed their 13 week probation.
