This is a full time, permanent position, working on a rotating day shift pattern, covering the hours of 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00. However, we do ask for some flexibility, this is logistics after all.

Pay, benefits and more:

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £33,100 per annum and receive 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). You’ll have access to a company pension scheme, extensive wellbeing programmes and initiatives, and our GXO University which provides you the opportunity to learn new skills and gain qualifications at a pace that you’re comfortable with. Plus, many other perks such as a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme and our continued focus on internal promotions, over 60% last year!

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Take full responsibility for all Health, Safety, and Environmental matters during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance at all times
  • Provide strong leadership and support to colleagues through clear communication and proactive engagement
  • Deliver consistent service levels, actively striving to exceed customer expectations
  • Lead, manage, and communicate effectively across all warehouse departments
  • Promote and uphold a culture of excellence, positive behaviours, and accountability
  • Demonstrate a “can-do” attitude to motivate and inspire team performance
  • Treat all employees with respect, actively promoting diversity and inclusion
  • Identify, implement, and proactively manage continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor, review, and ensure achievement of all internal and external KPIs

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Proven operational experience within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively

  • Good analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and KPIs
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation, and planning skills
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
