Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join the team based at Stowmarket working on the AkzoNobel contract.

 

This is a full time, permanent position, working 42.5 hours per week on the Night shiftMonday–Friday from 22:00 – 06:30.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Ensuring that all stock that comes into the warehouse is not damaged and put away correctly
  • Using MHE / PPT 20 (training provided)
  • Accurately complete all appropriate documentation including pick sheets and receipting documentation
  • Deliver a high level of quality in regards output within picking, pallet securing, stacking, and labelling.
  • Supporting the loading and unloading of multiple vehicles
  • Guarantee a safe working environment by following all the health and safety procedures 

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage their own workload.
  • Able to be flexible in terms of working hours and able to work overtime as required.
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Able to work on your own and as part as a team
