Here at GXO, we’re looking for a full-time, permanent Catering Assistant to join our team in Swindon (SN5). You will be working Monday to Friday 5 hours per day varying between 8:00am - 3:00pm.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Work as part of a team to serve customers in a professional and friendly manner 
  • Serve customers at counters and/or dining areas 
  • Fill and maintain vending machines as required 
  • Prepare sandwiches and assist with other basic food preparation 
  • Carry out general cleaning and kitchen duties, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met 
  • Support the catering team with any other duties as required 

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Ideally, you’ll have previous experience in a similar role
  • An understanding of food safety standards (HACCAP)
  • Flexible in your approach – there may be an opportunity for overtime!
  • Excellent customer service skills
