Catering Manager

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Catering Manager to join our team in Swindon, supporting our customer Iceland across our two sites. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the catering operations, ensuring high-quality meal provision for multiple shift patterns while overseeing all aspects of food safety, menu planning and compliance with regulatory standards, including food hygiene requirements and Natahsa’s Law.
This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 07:00 till 15:00 however, we do ask for flexibility when required with the occasional weekend working.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Oversee daily catering operations across both sites, ensuring timely meal provision for all warehouse shifts
- Maintain effective and consistent food offer, financial budgets while developing the team in catering provision and food service
- Oversee completion and maintenance of HACCP documentation, temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and allergen records
- Recruit, train, and onboard new team members to ensure competence in food hygiene, allergen management, meal preparation, and safe working practice
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience managing catering operations, ideally across multiple sites
- Level 3 Food Hygiene/Food Safety is essential
- Previous supervisory role in food production and customer service would be desirable
