Logistics Administrator

Here at GXO, we’re recruiting a Logistics Administrator to join our team in Swindon, working in partnership with B&Q. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a 4 on 4 off pattern. This role requires flexibility in working hours. Start times will vary between 06:00 and 09:00, with finish times ranging from 18:00 to 21:00, depending on business needs.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Be responsible for all aspects of same-day execution activities to manage/recover/maintain operational

coverage for the Store to Home network

  • Oversee GXO Fastworks platform incident investigations, record keeping and output or

escalation in-line with declared company timelines

  • Manage all aspects of vehicle hire-de-hire record keeping and publication
  • Maintain colleagues’ records and details within operational planning/tracking systems

 

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous experience in a transport environment within logistics is beneficial
  • Knowledge of transport legislation and European Working Time Directive as well as Tachomaster
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • IT literate, with excellent Word and Excel capabilities
