Systems Team Leader FTC

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for an Systems Team Leader based in Swindon at our B&Q site. As a Systems Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations, working closely with both the administration teams and warehouse functions to ensure all processes are accurate and efficient. This role is based within a fast‑paced distribution environment responsible for order picking and dispatch activities.
This is a full‑time position offered on a Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 2026. The shift pattern is rotating between 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00. There may also be the requirement to work a day shift.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead, motivate and manage the team to meet and exceed performance objectives while leading by example
- Oversee daily workloads, allocating tasks to ensure completion within agreed procedures and standards
- Communicate clear team objectives, producing accurate documentation, reports and statistics on time
- Liaise with wider site teams, providing support, system guidance and effective daily issue handovers
- Provide flexible cover across admin functions, building strong inter‑departmental relationships
- Ensure strict adherence to all Health & Safety requirements, promoting safe working practices at all times
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) with excellent attention to detail and a professional approach
- Confident communicator with clear verbal and written skills, able to stay organised and manage competing priorities
- Able to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and high standards
- Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude towards changing business needs
- Knowledge of the JDA Warehouse Management System is highly desirable
