Transport Fleet Coordinator

Here at GXO Logistics, we’re recruiting a Transport Fleet Coordinator to join our B&Q operation in Swindon. Working closely with the Transport Manager and Assistant Transport Manager, you’ll support all aspects of fleet and driver compliance, ensuring we meet O‑Licence requirements, internal audit standards and GXO’s commitment to safety. This is a key role within the transport team — perfect for someone who enjoys structure, compliance and working at the heart of operational delivery.
The role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis where you’ll work Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £30,000 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Support transport compliance activity, ensuring full adherence to O‑Licence and company standards
- Oversee fleet maintenance records, servicing, MOTs and defect management
- Liaise with service providers to arrange and track vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Manage tachograph compliance, including downloads, infringements, missing mileage and driver data
- Maintain accurate fleet, driver and licence records across GXO systems, complete weekly and monthly compliance audits and quality checks
- Produce and maintain transport metrics, compliance dashboards and performance reports
- Act as a key point of contact for drivers, transport teams, planners and QHSE colleagues
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience working within a transport or fleet compliance‑focused role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately
- Good understanding of transport compliance, driver hours or fleet processes
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- A proactive, organised and solutions‑focused approach
