We are looking for a Site Engineer to think along with the customer and develop logistics solutions and then implement them. As a full-time Site Engineer, you will work in a young, dynamic international working environment. You are responsible for coming up with efficient and effective logistics solutions for the customer and delivering the corresponding cost model. To this end, you will work together with colleagues from the Business Support, Quality & Control and Operations departments, among others.


What does your day look like as a Site Engineer?

  • Identifying, designing and improving logistics processes of daily operations
  • Improving the supporting IT systems
  • Delivering complete and correct cost models and P&L analyses for both tenders and existing operations
  • Providing support for implementation and (re)engineering projects such as layout, procedures, work instructions and training courses
  • Leading project teams including reporting
     

What do you need to be successful?

  • Completed HBO education in logistics and/or technical business administration
  • Knowledge of Lean and experience with complex logistics processes (mechanisation)
  • Knowledge of MS-Office, excellent command of MS Excel. VBA and CAD is an advantage
  • Quantitative insight and analytical skills
  • Command of the English language in word and writing with good communication and social skills
  • The ability to work on a project basis and in a team
