Workplace: Velké Meziříčí

We are looking for a motivated and organized Team Leader who will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of warehouse operatives within GXO's logistics environment. 

In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of your assigned area, achievement of performance targets, compliance with safety and quality standards, and the development of team members. You will work closely with the Warehouse Operations Coordinator and actively support operational efficiency and continuous process improvement. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead, organize, and support a team of warehouse operatives to achieve operational objectives. 

  • Plan and coordinate daily team activities. 

  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure deadlines and KPIs are achieved. 

  • Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to team members. 

  • Ensure compliance with work procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards. 

  • Monitor team productivity and implement corrective actions when required. 

  • Collaborate with departments such as Planning, Quality, Stock Management, and other support functions. 

  • Communicate operational priorities and ensure effective information flow between management and employees. 

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee development activities. 

  • Conduct regular employee performance reviews. 

  • Actively support Continuous Improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and safety. 

  • Participate in the implementation of new processes and operational changes. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Minimum secondary school education. 

  • Experience leading a team in logistics, manufacturing, or a similar operational environment. 

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills. 

  • Good communication and leadership abilities. 

  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. 

  • Willingness to work in a shift-based operation. 

  • Fluent Czech language skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in logistics or warehouse operations. 

  • Knowledge of WMS systems. 

  • Experience managing larger teams. 

  • Knowledge of Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement principles. 

  • English language skills.
