We are recruiting for a Data Specialist for our Site in Venlo.

 

Do you love Data crunching and reporting? As a Data Specialist you will be interpreting and analysing data using statistical techniques for reporting.

You need to have an analytical mindset and have an eye for detail with the ability to translate this to visual graphs.

 

  • Fluency in English, Dutch would be beneficial
  • Strong expertise in Data analysis and reporting
  • SAP knowledge and extensive usage of Excel is a must
  • We are open to level experience; however, you must be data savvy and ability to present your findings

 

What you do on a typical day

 

  • As a Data Specialist are collecting and combining datasets from various sources and provide the Site Controller/ Site Engineer/Customer and leadership with real-time data reports.
  • You derive insights on specific business questions and act upon them commercially
  • Focus on SAP with a strong connection towards engineering
  • Interpret and analyse data using statistical techniques and analytics tools for frequent reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement data analysis, data analytics, and solutions that support the business needs.
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends, patterns, and relationships in (complex) data sets.
  • Define, articulate, and create solutions that help make data interpretation and relationship identification manageable across many different data sources.
  • Locate and define continuous improvement opportunities.

 

What you need to succeed at GXO  

  • Ability to work extensively with Excel
  • SAP knowledge and expertise is a must
  • Strong communication skills
  • Minimum requirement Vocational Education in Administration, Finance or related field, Will accept any combination of education, experience or training
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is beneficial
