We are seeking a Facility Employee to join our team in Venray, supporting a new warehouse facility. This hands-on role involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various building-related issues to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse and surrounding premises. As a key player in our facilities team, you will report to the Facility Supervisor and work closely with the Facility Coordinator to address maintenance tasks, solve technical issues, and contribute to the overall upkeep of the warehouse and external areas.

What does your day look like as a Facility Employee?

• You will perform building-related repairs, such as fixing doors, windows, and other general facility issues.
• You will maintain outdoor areas, including tree trimming and green maintenance, especially during the summer months.
• You will visit areas of the warehouse where issues are reported, assess the problem, and fix it when possible. For larger issues, coordinate with external service providers.
• You use the facility management ticket system to monitor, update, and resolve maintenance tickets, ensuring all tasks are tracked (approximately 1 hour per day).
• You will communicate directly with the Facility Coordinator to understand work orders and issues around the warehouse/building.
• You will work alongside three other technicians who support multiple buildings, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• You will be flexible in shifts and able to respond to urgent maintenance needs as required.

What do you need to be successful

• Proven experience as a handyman, mechanic, or facility technician with a strong background in hands-on repair and maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of building-related issues.
• Strong communication skills to work with your colleagues and report on tasks.
• Basic knowledge of working with facility ticketing systems or other related software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including potentially switching between shifts as required.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including outdoor maintenance.
• English or Dutch is a must
