What will you do on a working day:

As Customer Service/Business Support Teamleader you provide functional leadership to different departments. You are concerned with making improvements in the process to better respond to the wishes of the organization and the customers and you pay attention to your employees. The work is on a day shift and you report to the Business Support Manager.

 

The tasks of Business Support Teamleader consist of:

  • Oversee and manage key departments, especially Customer Service, and including Stock Controllers.
  • Provide support to departments in their daily business activities.
  • Conduct regular meetings with customers to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Handle escalations from both team members and customers to resolve issues effectively.
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and perform on-site calculations.
  • Act as the first line of support for internal teams, assisting with daily volume tracking and operational planning.
  • Oversee transport planning, including carrier management and addressing customer complaints related to carriers.
  • Manage two customers with distinct structures, requiring adaptability and dynamic problem-solving skills.
  • Ensure smooth operations across diverse environments, being mindful of their unique organizational setups

 

What do you need to be successful as a Customer Service/Business Support Teamleader?

  • Experience in a similar role of people management
  • Experience in stock controll and related activities
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Advance level of MS Office, espcially in Excel
  • Experience with Power BI is a great advantage 
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written), Dutch is a plus
