Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a  Team Leader Business Support  to join our Business Support Manager to support with the process Controller & Inventory Controller teams.  

What you do on a typical day

• As a Team Leader, you will manage the team’s performance continually, develop associates by providing training and coaching
• Assign duties and monitor work completion for accuracy.
• Maintain a safe work environment and fosters a positive team dynamic, resolving employee relations issues and administering corrective action as required
• Participate in Lean Warehousing system on the floor.
•  Report direct task-related problems in straightforward situations.
• Associate should be able to train other employees with department functions.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

•  Minimum Required Education: Intermediate Vocational Education in logistics, supply chain management or equivalent.
• Minimum Required Experience: 3+ years of Operations experience in a similar role.
•  Strong communication skills (verbal and written)  English.
• LEAN Warehousing
• Strong experience gained in a manufacturing logistics / supply chain in FMCG environment
• Knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Health & Safety KPI’s, operational processes and service level agreements
• Proven counterbalance experience
• Excellent dexterity to complete the duties of the role
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
