To support our growing presence in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Team Leader to join our team in Venray.
What you do on a typical day
- Oversee daily departmental operations to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established standards, KPIs, and productivity targets.
- Lead and develop team performance through coaching, training, and ongoing support, fostering professional growth.
- Provide clear communication and guidance to ensure consistent, high-quality execution of tasks.
- Participate in recruitment and people management processes, including hiring recommendations, performance evaluations, promotions, and contract terminations.
- Coordinate and support start-up activities with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of new processes or projects.
- Perform administrative and analytical tasks, including data analysis, planning, and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing optimized solutions.
What do you need to succeed at GXO
- Proven experience in a similar role within a logistics environment, including leading teams of 20+ employees.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proactive attitude and strong collaboration abilities.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
