Here at GXO, we’re looking for a full-time, permanent Transport First Line Manager to join us at our busy operation in Warrington. Working hours would be Monday-Friday 10pm-6am (Nights)

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £31,755 plus shift allowance of £6,107 (£37,862) total per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Organise and supervise the driver planning
  • Manage all aspects of legal compliance which affect role, work with compliance manager to meet requirements
  • Ensure all aspects of H&S are adhered to and Fastworks is updated accordingly. 
  • Deliver GXO policies in line with HR guidance and procedures
  • Foster, maintain and improve relationships with colleagues throughout GXO and

with other depots

  • Prioritise customer requirements to ensure customer needs are met

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous experience within a transport / logistics organisation at a management level.
  • Knowledge and understanding of vehicle compliance requirements and the importance of correct management including the safe vehicle loading / unloading process
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
