Warehouse Operative

City Plumbing is looking for an enthusiastic DE-Kit Warehouse Operative to join our busy team at Omega, Warrington. In this role, you’ll refurbish, reclaim, and prepare site equipment to ensure high standards for all outbound deliveries.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growing DE-Kit operation, working with pallets, collars, lids, stillages, and waste products, with responsibilities expanding as the site develops.
You’ll be working full-time, permanently, on a night shift pattern of any 5 from 7, covering the hours 22:00 to 06:00

What you will do on a typical day:
- Refurbish and produce site equipment, including pallets, lids, collars, and stillages, ensuring high-quality standards
- Manage and prioritise daily workload for pallet and lid construction to support operational demands
- Operate compactor and baler machines safely as part of the reclamation and waste-handling process
- Record and process pallet returns from branches accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with the team to report availability, escalate issues, and ensure smooth handovers between shifts
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment, following all SOPs, SSOWs, and health & safety procedures
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and willingness to contribute to the team
- A good level of physical stamina, as this is an active, hands-on role
- Flexibility and adaptability to support changing operational needs and deadlines
- Self-motivation, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous experience in a DE-Kit or similar warehouse environment (not essential)
