Warehouse Optimisation Manager

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Optimisation Manager to join our team in Warrington, supporting our customer, Iceland. With regular travel to our other sites in the Iceland network, you will lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, reduce cost and improve service levels across the warehouse operations while configure and manage the DLx warehouse management system to support the business needs and ensure system integrity.
This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00. However, we do ask for some flexibility due to the nature of the position.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £58,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead key projects across warehouse operations including layout design, inventory flow and system changes to enhance warehouse productivity measures
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel to monitor KPI’s and performance metrics
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma or similar methodology
- Work and collaborate with other departments to present findings to senior level management with GXO and Iceland
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics or supply chain management
- Strong working knowledge of DLx WMS (configuration, reporting and troubleshooting)
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement frameworks would be advantageous
