Here at GXO Logistics we are currently looking for Yard Operatives individuals to join our energetic team City Plumbing based in Warrington, on a full time, permanent contract.  You will be working on Monday – Friday, covering a rotating shift pattern, with the working hours of 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Controlling the workload for pallet and lid construction
  • Recording all branch pallet returns
  • Cleaning the wagons if/when required
  • Operate compactor and baler machines to a safe standard

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Ability to follow safe working instructions
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing instructions to support the operation, to meet the requirements of the shift and deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • Previous experience within a recycling/yard departments preferable, but not essential
