As the IT Project Manager will lead and oversee projects and teams both across Central Europe, ensuring successful delivery, client satisfaction, and effective management of expectations. The role involves improving project management processes, implementing best practices, and providing regular updates to senior management on project status and opportunities for process improvements.
What does your day look like in the role of our IT Project Manager (Implementations):
IT Project Management
- Overseeing projects within Central European Cluster (mainly Germany and Poland, Czech Republic, Romania)
- Ensuring consistent application of project methodologies within the IT team
- Managing the project portfolio and developing project plans
- Coordinate tasks and resources across multiple teams
- Tracking risks and collaborating with the team on mitigation strategies
- Handling scope changes effectively
- Leading and overseeing testing phases
Solution Design
- Designing operational and system workflows
- Guiding solutions to align with company’s standards
- Maximizing the use of standard WMS solutions
Communication & Reporting
- Providing updates on project progress, risk mitigation, and issue management to both internal and external stakeholders
What do you need to be successful:
- At least 5 years of experience in implementing WMS (additional TMS systems would be a plus)
- Strong background in project management, including leading projects in both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Experience in logistics (experience with 3PL would be an advantage)
- Proficiency in English, with German being an additional advantage
- Exceptional communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts effectively
- Capable of working both collaboratively within a team and independently
