Class 2 Driver

We are looking for a dedicated Class 2 Driver to join our team in Washington and deliver Hovis bread products across North East England.
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a ‘5 days out of 7’ with a start time of 02:00 am, so you can enjoy peaceful roads for smooth driving. This role is contracted to 48 hours per week, providing you with a stable and consistent workload.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Deliver bread products to stores, prisons and warehouses on a multi-drop basis
- Ensure all products are delivered on time and in perfect condition
- Perform occasional warehouse duties as needed
- Monitor the vehicle for any defects or signs of wear and tear and promptly report any issues
- Maintain a high standard of customer service during deliveries
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Hold a valid Class 2 licence
- Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
- An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
