QA Auditor

Here at GXO Logistics, we’re looking for a QA Auditor to join us at our new site in Welingborough. In this key role, you’ll lead the Quality Control function day to day - organising resources, managing priorities and ensuring our product inspections, rework activities and compliance processes run smoothly and effectively. You’ll also manage and develop your team, driving performance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working 5 days out of 7, predominantly Monday–Friday. However flexibility will be required, this is logistics after all!

You’ll be paid a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead, motivate and organise the QA team to deliver accurate product inspections and rework activity
- Organise and implement daily inspection routines, ensuring all results are recorded accurately
- Manage performance, training needs and development plans for your team
- Build and maintain positive relationships with operational teams and central functions
- Report inspection results, non‑compliance trends and rework costs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring best‑in‑class quality practices
- Oversee stock movements related to rework, inspections and quarantined goods
- Support customer and store queries, responding to requests in a timely manner
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment, ideally within QC
- Strong understanding of batch inspection practices and quality processes
- Proven experience of supervising and leading a team, including disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- Strong analytical approach and ability to make informed decisions
- IT proficiency across Excel, Word and other reporting systems
- A flexible, proactive and solutions‑focused mindset
