Systems Manager

Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for a Systems Manager to join our Costa & Whitbread contract, based in Wellingborough.


While managing and supporting a team of colleagues, you will be responsible for maintaining all contract systems and IT hardware, to ensure a smooth delivery of operational activity to the contractual requirements with minimal disruption.


You will be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 08:00-17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £44,000. In addition, we offer 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Responsible for leading, managing, organization and co-ordination of the day-to-day workload of the Systems I.T team to deliver the highest level of support and corporate standards
  • Mentoring the systems team to achieve personal development, succession planning and business continuity
  • Responsible for the management, system usage which includes data and system maintenance, and support of the local Warehouse Management Systems
  • Manage and monitor the interfaces between the WMS and Whitbread Systems and ensure that the customer is successfully receiving all files


What you need to succeed at GXO:


  • Experience working within a team, delivering projects within a food service or FMCG environment
  • Good knowledge of IT systems such as WMS
  • Process driven, with the ability to work with a team to identify and capture requirements
  • Experience in systems management, interfacing, development, and Unix systems preferable but not a necessity
