Here at GXO, we are currently on the lookout for a WMS Support Analyst to join our team on the Virgin Media contract in Wellingborough. You will be supporting applications and testing newly developed IT business systems to ensure readiness for implementations.

 

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday – Friday with the hours of 09:00 – 17:00. Flexibility is needed and there may be unsociable hours in the evening and weekends, with weekends being paid as overtime!

We’re looking to offer a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience. In addition, we offer 25 annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Support applications that are managed centrally (this will involve asking relevant questions of the operation and our customers to determine the way the system should be configured, planning and carrying out the data set up and then testing to make sure it works correctly)
  • Testing newly developed business systems to ensure readiness for implementation, recording results of tests in a logical manner and providing clear feedback on any software faults
  • Identifying, developing and training site super-users on applications
  • Act as a coordinator on site, giving guidance on system use to new operators, monitoring success of new processes and logging and prioritising any IT issues that arise

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • High proficiency to JDA Dispatcher/Red Prairie/Blue Yonder/DLx to super user level as a minimum
  • SQL, PL/SQL or Jasper report writing experience would be beneficial
  • Experience with system testing and documentation
