Do you want to make sure that we achieve inbound and outbound truck turn times that are within acceptable levels to meet customer needs? Do you combine this with a high standard of responsibility, teamwork, and accurate work? If so, then we are looking for you! We have an opportunity for an experienced Process Controller to join our team based in Wessem.

 

What you do on a typical day as a Process Controller

  • Monitors and assesses Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) to determine efficiency of workflow
  • Identifies inefficiencies in workflow between replenishment, picking, put wall, packing, and shipping; makes wave and labour adjustments as needed
  • Monitors order queue and ensures balance between replenishment, picking, put wall, packing, and shipping
  • Complete the waves in warehouse management system
  • Excellent planning and prioritization skills are essential to manage processes effectively and ensure smooth operations
  • Work safely as per GXO Health & Safety trainings, standards, procedures and processes and actively contribute to a safer work environment for colleagues and visitors
  • Contribution to structural reduction of negative environmental impact from usage of natural resources (a/o energy, water, fuel) and from emissions (waste, carbon) and to contribute to environmental performance initiatives
  • Adhere to applicable legal requirements, GXO and industry standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

 

What you need to succeed at GXO

  • We require a minimum of MBO education towards logistics, supply chain management or equal obtained by work experience
  • You must have relevant experience gained in a similar role in Logistics
  • Strong communicative skills in English, with Dutch being advantageous
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for data management, reporting, and daily customer service operations
  • Knowledge about LEAN and warehouse material handling is preferable
  • Ability to interact with people from another cultural background
  • Proactive and focused on actions with a tenacious outlook
  • Be a team player
