First Line Manager (Nights)

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a confident and capable First Line Manager (Nights) to join our Nutmeg contract based in Brighouse. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations, lead teams across shifts, and ensure our standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity are consistently met.

 

This is a full-time, permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday , covering the hours of 19:00 till 06:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £39,572.00 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Lead by example in health & safety, process adherence, and team engagement
  • Managing shift handovers, resource planning, and operational continuity
  • Supporting HR functions including RTWs, investigations, and absence management
  • Driving performance against KPIs and supporting site-wide initiatives
  • Acting as site lead on Sundays and during management absences

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Proven experience in team leadership within a warehouse or supply chain environment
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
