Stock Administrator

Are you a Warehouse Operative or Warehouse Administrator that enjoys investigating? Do you have some experience of Stock control and looking for a new challenge?

 

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting a full-time Stock Administrator to work at our site based at Sherburn in Elmet (LS25 6PT)

 

In this role, you will be working an average of 40 hours per week – (11.5 hours per day) on a 4on,4off Shift pattern working between the hours of 07:00 – 19:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Participating in stock investigations and provide admin support to the Stock Manager and Team Leader
  • Liaising extensively with other departments and functions as instructed by Stock Manager, and Team Leaders
  • Inputting data into spread sheets for report writing
  • Ensure weekly KPI reports are produced in an accurate and timely manner
  • Effectively deal with day-to-day queries from customers and third-party providers
  • Checking email and phone queries

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written
  • Active listening and influencing skills with the ability to deal with challenging issues
  • An analytical approach, with a keen eye for detail
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and VMS
