Stock Team Leader

Here at GXO we’re looking for Stock Team Leaders to join our growing multiuser site in Sherburn-In-Elmet.
This is a full-time, permanent role, with a shift pattern 4 on 4 off nights, 7:30pm to 7:30am

We’re looking to offer a salary of £31,080 (inclusive of nights allowance) per annum and 23 days annual leave. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Manage, motivate, and train the stock team and warehouse operatives to ensure competency in assigned tasks.
- Liaise closely with the Operations Manager and Operations team to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Participate in capacity planning for seasonal changes, peak periods, and customer events.
- Report and escalate high-risk issues such as damages to racking or stock storage areas to Health & Safety.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience in leading a stock team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, automation and multi-channel
- Experience in conducting audits, cycle counts, and stock investigations in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interrogate systems and provide meaningful insights.
